The GenTIC team, in collaboration with the RETO project of the EduAlter association, has developed a series of publications that provide concepts and educational resources to promote young people’s digital wellbeing and foster their empowerment in the use of technologies.

Aimed at both secondary school teachers and students, the resources address issues such as gender gaps and inequalities in the educational context, tools to ensure health and well-being in digital environments, how to promote digital equity, and how to promote digital sovereignty for citizens and reclaim technologies, all from a feminist and gender perspective with an intersectional approach.

In an interview at UOC News, Milagros Sáinz, director of GenTIC and coordinator of this research project, reflected on the keys for young people to acquire healthier digital habits that protect them from cyberbullying and gender discrimination.

This educational resources initiative has been promoted by EduAlter with the financial support of the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation (ACCD) of the Government of Catalonia. For more information, visit the research project page and explore more educational resources on the RETO platform.
