GenTIC projects contribute to advancing gender equality in contemporary societies at the legal, organizational and community levels. Our work seeks to achieve specific objectives linked to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, specifically Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls; Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and quality education for all, and Goal 10: Reduce inequality within and among countries. Hence, our activities are embedded in a broader policy context of gender equality, diversity and social justice. Guiding principle for our work is an ethic of respect for the person, knowledge, democratic values, sustainability and social justice.
