Sergi Fàbregues Feijóo

Sergi Fàbregues is Associate Professor of Research Methods in the Department of Psychology and Education at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Barcelona, Spain), Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Mixed Methods Research, Academic Editor of PLOS ONE, and Core Faculty of the Mixed Methods Program at the University of Michigan. He holds a PhD in Sociology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a BA in Sociology and an MPhil in Sociology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and an MSc in Public and Social Policy from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in collaboration with the Johns Hopkins University.

He is currently part of the NUTRALiSS research group at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, and was previously part of the MISS, GenTIC, and ENS research groups. His research interests focus on mixed and qualitative research methods, including research quality, integration of quantitative and qualitative data, qualitative analysis, and systematic methodological reviews. He has taught numerous international seminars in these areas. He has served as a methodological consultant in a variety of disciplinary fields, including psychology, education, public health, and nursing.
