
I am a PhD in Sociology from the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and got my degree in Psychology at the University of Oviedo, where I started my research career. I am a professor of research methods at the UOC’s Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, director of Learning and Teaching Analysis at the eLearning Innovation Center, and researcher of the consolidated research group GenTIC at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. My research lines focus on the application of quantitative research methods, sample design, questionnaire design and administration, and multivariate data analysis.
As a result of this research activity, over the years I have participated in 26 research projects in collaboration with various teams and published 59 articles in scientific journals, 12 books, 6 book chapters, 8 research reports, and 9 teaching materials. I have also participated in 54 contributions to national and international conferences.
