I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2022) and my Master’s degree in Psychology of Social Intervention (2023) at Universidad de Granada. I obtained the Joan Oró grant (FI 2025) to pursue my doctoral studies with the Gender and ICT research group at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
My doctoral thesis focuses on combating gender stereotypes in children (e.g., ‘boys are smarter than girls’), which shape their academic and professional interests as well as their life decisions. Furthermore, these stereotypes can restrict their perception of the full range of future career options. To address this issue, my research centers on the development and analysis of interventions that allow this psychosocial barrier to be overcome.
