Milagros Sáinz, director of GenTIC presented in Granada the provisional results of the systematic review and meta-analysis that is currently being carried out within the framework of the GESTEMI project at the 7th Congress of Educational & Developmental Sciences.

The research, in which several members of the GenTIC research group participate, aims to review the educational interventions carried out to date, at an international level, aimed at promoting the interest and participation of young women in studies and professions related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), and evaluate the content, characteristics, and effectiveness of these programs when it comes to reducing the gender gap in these areas of knowledge.

The presentation by Milagros Sáinz, entitled “Systematic review on interventions to incorporate women in STEM fields” took place on April 25th within the Symposium that grouped the themes of Anxiety, Mathematics, STEM and Children.
