GenTIC engages other societal actors such as secondary students, teachers and families, academic researchers, science and innovation institutions, and policy makers in the research process, to consider their needs and expectations and to facilitate public access to scientific results. Knowledge transfer is part of our regular activities aimed at supporting policy development and implementation. One of the ways in which we connect science to society is by organizing dissemination activities addressed to academic researchers and students, as well as scientific events and educational activities addressed to non-academic stakeholders and the wider public. On the other hand, an important part of the resources and publications generated by our research projects are available under an open access standard.
Below you will find a description of some of our engagement and knowledge transfer activities.
