Platoniq. Creatividad & Democracia (Spain) in association with Missions Publiques (France) organized on October 16 and 17 a deliberative process in Spain, open to citizens from all areas of society, to discuss the future of the Internet. GenTIC researcher Natalia Garrido participated in the event as an observer, in representation of the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
This event is part of a global citizen dialogue promoted in 78 countries on the five continents, whose objective is to give a voice to citizens on issues related to digital identity, data, artificial intelligence, and the digital public sphere. The results will serve to prepare recommendations that will be delivered to decision-makers at the local and global level.
