The main results of the study on the Skills and Capabilities Assessment for Social Innovation of Socially Responsive Enterprises in Barcelona, coordinated by GenTIC researchers Lidia Arroyo and Jörg Müller, are now available. The research has been carried out in the framework of the +RESILIENT project, with the participation of Natalia Garrido and in collaboration with Barcelona Activa, as part of an international study that has included 11 regions in 7 European countries.

The study was aimed at identifying professional skills (soft and hard skills) required in social economy organisations to generate social and digital innovation and the elements that are considered essential for their sustainability and resilience. Also, the project has analysed existing skills gaps in the organisations of the social economy sector in order to design strategies and has identified the key elements for new professional profiles.
