The Gender Equality Audit and Monitoring (GEAM) tool is an online, user-friendly platform designed to support universities and research institutions in conducting survey-based gender equality audits. Originally developed by the ACT project, the GEAM has already been adopted by over 50 organisations and is available in 15 languages. Now, as part of the INSPIRE project, the tool has been revised and updated, enhancing the employee’s questionnaire and introducing a new module targeting higher education students.
This hands-on workshop will introduce participants to essential statistical techniques and thematic areas of analysis and will launch the online handbook ‘Statistical Analysis for Inclusive Gender Equality’, co-edited by GenTIC senior researcher Jörg Müller, Dalia Argudo, a researcher at Notus, and Ewa Krzaklewska and Paulina Sekuła, professors at Jagiellonian University.
Whether you’re new to data analysis or looking to deepen your understanding, the workshop provides a supportive environment to explore the full potential of the GEAM tool. It should be of interest to a broad range of people working with quantitative data for inclusive gender equality, including:
- Gender equality practitioners
- Researchers and policy officers
- Data and monitoring teams
- Organisations considering or already using GEAM
No advanced statistical knowledge is required, just a commitment to advancing inclusive gender equality through evidence-based approaches.
