The journal Public Policy and Administration has published a new article co-authored by Rachel Palmén, a senior researcher at GenTIC, Susanne Buehrer, coordinator and Project Manager at Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research, Evanthia Kalpazidou Schmidt, associate professor at Aarhus University, and Dorottya Rigler, a researcher at the Association of Hungarian Woman in Science.

 

Based on the results of 19 case studies carried out in the Horizon 2020 project EFFORTI, the paper applies a context-sensitive evaluation concept for gender equality interventions in Hungary, where an established research and innovation evaluation practice does not exist. This approach makes it possible not only to depict effects on gender equality itself but also to anticipate effects on research and innovation.
