The XI European Conference on Gender Equality in Higher Education will be held on 16-18 September 2020 in Madrid.

It is organized by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Universities, in collaboration with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and GenTIC director, Milagros Sáinz, is part of the Scientific Committee.

The Conference aims to promote a gender-sensitive culture in our academic and R&I systems in light of the global challenges. The programme will contribute to strengthening the well-established debates on gender equality in higher education and research as well as encouraging the gender perspective mainstreaming in new domains such as national and regional funding agencies and the innovation sector.

Call for abstracts is open until 15 February 2020.
