The final contributions for the GEDII Inventors Award are already available for public voting. We asked for stories about inventions which have been developed by women, in women’s groups or in mixed gender groups, and about the factors that made it successful. The story should put special emphasis on the social implications of the invention, and a tie with diversity and gender issues is specially appreciated.

The public voting will run until the 31rst of January 2018. The winner will be announced on the 1rst of February 2018.
